President Donald Trump has consistently attacked the press and media during his time in office, using the controversial phrase "enemy of the people" in describing journalists. Last week's Constitution Day provided an opportunity for the press to address how it's a key part of protecting the nation's freedoms.
As part of that, the Arizona Republic printed an exchange that included USA Today Editor-in-Chief Nicole Carroll commenting on the importance of the free press.
