Fats Waller was an entertainer, composer and brilliant pianist. Waller was one of the most popular performers of his era, finding critical and commercial success in the US and in Europe. He was a prolific songwriter and many of his songs like Honeysuckle Rose, Squeeze Me, and Ain't Misbehavin' have become jazz standards.  Celebrate Fats Waller's birthday Monday night on the 9 O'clock Special and enjoy the music of this great American composer played by Diana Krall, Miles Davis and Red Garland.
